Are you looking for a deeper experience
of God ?
Mark 10.16 " And he [Jesus] took them [children] up in His
arms, put His hands upon them, and blessed them." 1 Timothy
4.14. "Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given
thee by prophecy, with the laying on of hands on the presbytery."
Pastor Abraham teaches:
It may surprise you to know that 'laying
on of hands' is a major foundational teaching of the Church of
the Lord Jesus Christ. Please read Hebrews 6.1-2. One of the last
words of our departing Saviour was that those who believe will
lay hands! Mark 16.18. In many circles of the Church hands are
laid on people but with no visible results as taught and manifested
in the Holy Bible. In general conversation when we talk of human
hands, we sometimes refer to 'helping hands.' Therefore when hands
are laid on you by a minister or another Christian you must believe
that you are at the point of receiving help at the point of your
needs. In the Word of God, the right hand of God represents the
place of the power of God ! Luke 22.69 "Hereafter
shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God."
Do you know that the Word of God teaches
that all your needs [spiritual, intellectual, material] can be
met through the laying of hands? John 13.3 "Jesus
knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands".
When a minister lays hands upon you in the Name of Jesus, Jesus'
hands are upon you and blessings - all things are in His hands!
God will help you through the laying on of hands. Psalm 37.24
"Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for
the LORD upholdeth him with his hand." You can even
receive guidance after hands are laid! Psalm 78.72 "So He
fed them according to the integrity of His hands." From the
above you can see the great failure of the Church in general,
just like the failure of Timothy, in not realising the power and
benefits of laying on of hands. Psalm 78.42 "They remembered
not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy."
Remember hands are being laid on you in the Name of Jesus!
Stir yourself! The hands of the Lord !
Come to the meetings in our Opening Ceremony,
and receive from God. There will be opportunity for prayer and
the laying on of hands.
