A Church is not a building, but a community of Christian believers.

- a new church in Manchester

Manchester Miracle Centre, formerly All Souls Church, Every Street, Ancoats, Manchester, was designed by William Hayley in 1839-40 in an unusual and original Romanesque style - built in red brick with its distinctive tall round arched windows and twin towers marking the East front, with echoed blind towers at the rear and similar towered buttresses on all four corners. A simple round window sits above the main entrance which is also a Norman arch.

It sits amongst 1960s residential housing estates. It closed in 1984 and was used as a joinery workshop until recently.

Manchester Miracle Centre Ancoats has four pointed towers and a roofline similar to Milan Cathedral. The tall gas holder behind was taken down during 2002.

Mount Zion Restoration Ministries, based in Tottenham, North London are planting a church here. The Church is not for us- it is for you ! We need your input and help to start this new project. If you think you have a part to play, or are looking for a church to attend, please contact us on our Contact Page.

We are pleased to be able to obtain this church building, which was formerly an Anglican church. We are looking for local people who wish to play a part. We are fulfilling the Gospel mandate: "Go into the whole world and preach the gospel." If you would like to get involved, go to our contact page where you can get in touch by phone, email, online form, by post, Skype, or through our blog or forum.
